The Rotary International dinner for our district is on January 3rd. It is $90 and is at 6:00 at the Double Tree Inn in San Jose. See Win to sign up.
UCSC Rotaract students are fundraising for Digital Nest and Jacobs Heart. We are invited to join with them to help raise money for these two causes. They will keep us informed as to time and place.
There will be a memorial for Anne McCallum on December 22nd from at her home on 225 Waughs street.
Thomas John went to the Interact club and reported back on their activities. They are doing a coat drive a food drive and a Christmas gift wrap to raise money.
Michelle reminded us of our major fundraiser which will be at the end of April or beginning of May. Live auction funds will go to community grants for their disbursement. The fundraiser itself will support one organization to be selected.
Today the club was thrilled to have the Higher Ground quartet playing to get us into the Christmas spirit. They played Christmas songs and southern gospel music. See our Facebook link for the live performance!
